Physical Therapist Assistant
I grew up in Holland, Michigan, and have always loved being outdoors—whether hiking, swimming, biking, or spending time at the beautiful beaches along Lake Michigan. I pursued my Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Baker College in Muskegon, where I combined my passion for movement and wellness with a desire to help others stay active and independent.
I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a strong background in working with geriatric and neurologically impaired populations. Before joining Vitality at Home, I discovered my passion for helping older adults and individuals with neurological conditions improve their mobility and quality of life. I’m especially excited to continue serving this population in their own homes, where therapy can be even more personalized and impactful. I’m also certified in LSVT-BIG, a specialized physical therapy protocol designed for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
Core Values: Honesty, authenticity, and hard work are the core values that guide me both personally and professionally. I believe in showing up with integrity, being genuine in my interactions, and giving my best effort in everything I do—whether that’s supporting a patient’s recovery or building trust through compassionate care.

“Be passionate and be involved in what you believe in, and do it as thoroughly and honestly and fearlessly as you can.”
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Vitality at Home, I work closely under our Physical Therapists to deliver personalized treatment plans for our patients. I’m especially passionate about serving the geriatric population and have a focused interest in neurological conditions, particularly Parkinson’s disease. I’m certified in LSVT-BIG, a specialized therapy protocol that helps improve movement and quality of life for individuals with Parkinson’s.
One of the biggest challenges I see in healthcare is that patients often feel unheard or rushed. High productivity demands in many settings can lead to shorter visits and less personalized care—and unfortunately, it’s the patients who are most impacted. That’s one of the reasons I love working with Vitality at Home. Our model allows for one-on-one, hour-long sessions in the comfort of each patient’s home. It gives us the time to listen, connect, and provide care that truly supports their goals. Plus, we have a dedicated team working behind the scenes to ensure every patient receives the high-quality, personalized care they deserve.
I have a special interest in treating Parkinson’s disease but am passionate about working with a wide range of neurological impairments. I also greatly enjoy helping patients improve their balance and stability to enhance their safety and independence.
What I love most about working at Vitality at Home is the opportunity to provide personalized, one-on-one care in patients’ own homes. It allows me to build meaningful relationships, truly understand each person’s unique needs, and see firsthand the positive impact therapy can have on their daily lives. Being part of a collaborative team that’s dedicated to improving the independence and quality of life for older adults makes this role incredibly rewarding.
