Dr. Megan Resseguie

PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

I am originally from Brighton, MI but moved to the west side to attend Grand Valley State University for both undergrad and graduate school. I have been living in the Grand Rapids area for about 9 years now!

I have experience across a variety of clinical settings, with my primary expertise and credentials in outpatient orthopedics and pelvic health. I am especially passionate about women’s health and empowering individuals to maintain an active and mobile lifestyle.

I am a physical therapist providing intentional, individualized care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation

“The grass is greener where you water it”

Conditions I especially enjoy treating include general deconditioning, post-operative rehabilitation, women’s health, Parkinson’s, and a variety of orthopedic and mobility-related conditions

Something patients have to deal with that I want to fix is the access to intentional care. I want patients to feel that they are truly being heard and cared for as an individual, rather than feeling like another number or appointment on a schedule.

Something that I like about working here is the ability to build meaningful relationships while helping people regain confidence, independence, and quality of life. Treatment provided in-home allows me to meet patients where they are and provide truly personalized care.

Core Values:

The values that guide me most in life are kindness, authenticity, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the people around me. I believe in showing up for others, continuing to grow through every experience, and living an active, meaningful life surrounded by the people and things I love.

Outside of work

I enjoy staying active through golf, yoga, running, and walks, while also exploring new places, getting lost in a good book, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I started PT a month after | tore my meniscus. Wasn’t very hopeful it would help. I worked with Megan who was patient and encouraged me to do the exercises to meet my goal of avoiding surgery. After a month of working out with Megan my mobility is vastly improved and I am so happy I gave it a try!
